Audio
Internationally renowned sound is what we have built our name on. Our carefully curated inventory of microphones, preamps, and recording systems are built around industry standard, top-of-the-line equipment, and our goal is always to capture sound as accurately and artfully as possible. From basic stereo concert and session captures to high-profile albums and large scale live sound system deployments and operation, DSA strives to deliver the most realistic and accurate representation of your sound possible.
Our primary audio recording system is built around the Apogee Symphony I/O, and we also regularly utilize Waves Soundgrid and Dante DVS for large format projects. We favor Digico and Midas systems for large format live work and recording. Our microphone inventory includes a wide variety of industry-standard and time-tested favorites like our Neumann U87s, the DPA 4006 omnis, Coles 4038 ribbons, Telefunken tube condensers, and much more.
Video
Video production at DSA is not just about creating or capturing an atmosphere; we want to guide the listener on a journey through your performance. We offer capture packages that span from basic single camera documentation to large ensemble arrays of up to 10 or 12 cameras. Some of our past work has garnered millions of views world-wide for our clients. We bring the audience closer to you through the lens!
Streaming
In the era of needing immediate connection with audiences abroad, we can bring our polished level of video and audio directly to your audience in real-time. We were the first provider of streaming at the UMSMTD ever, and we constantly strive to expand that experience. Built around a robust camera array, skilled cam operators, our Blackmagic ATEM switching interface, and our expertly mixed and mastered audio feeds, it brings your remote audience to the front row for an extremely high-quality viewing and listening experience they won’t forget.
Post-Production
We provide a comprehensive list of post-production services from editing to mixing and mastering on any project; work with us from start to finish, or at any stage in your project our contributions are needed.
All of our audio work is based around the infrastructure of ProTools, the industry standard for audio engineering, mixing, and mastering. Dave is a master level ProTools technician, having been in the audio business for over 28 years. He has developed his sound, expertise, and work flow for high quality and expedient delivery of your media. Robyn is a certified ProTools specialist as well and lends her keen ears, eyes, and creativity to the mix.
For our video production, we have two editing suites in action with Magix Vegas Pro and Adobe Premiere. Through our diverse media services, our goal is always to help you achieve your vision!
